The Universe: Chapter 3 – Time (part d)
Temporal dimension – in which the axes are identical to the axes of the spatial dimension. Only because Time is based on resistance to motion, the direction of motion on the axes is always opposite to the direction of the spatial axes. On the spatial vector that indicates the direction of motion of Matter, sits the vector of the temporal dimension that we call – past, present and future.
The temporal dimension makes it possible to determine the relative position of points in Time – Timing. A temporary dimension is a dimension measured by a clock and direction gauge. The temporal dimension has a minimum discrete dose – Planck Time whose size is equal to 10 to the power of minus 43 seconds. Moving Matter have different constants of delaying derived from the features of the Moving Matter. Motion in Time is also free, permitted and unrestricted in all directions.
The importance of dimensions lies mainly in the fact that they are the ones that make it possible to differentiate between different details and events and place them relative to others. It should be remembered that although the spatial features of Matter and its temporal features are measured separately, the existence of features in our world is not possible separately, but only in combination with each other. In other words, the place of a Moving Matter in Space can be defined by the spatial dimension, the place of that Moving Matter in Time (timing) will be defined by the dimension of Time. Each of the separately definitions will be only partial, because the Moving Matter is always as a whole in Space-Time, and therefore the definition of its precise location (event) must always consist of a combination of the use of all dimensions.
Directional motions in the temporal dimension
Scientists rightly and for practical reasons ignore the theoretical possibility I have raised here of motions in Time in different directions, just like motions in Space. Scientists accept motions in Time only in directions – past, present, and future, which, in my opinion, as I have already explained, are only the motions in the direction of motion of Moving-Matter in Space-Time relatively to other Matter or relatively to cosmic background radiation.
According to my hypothesis of the essence of Time, the motion toward the future is exactly the motion we make together with our entire galaxy. Whoever moves very quickly in the same direction as the galaxy's motion will reach the spatial and temporal position of some target body in front of us. There is nothing wrong with this, and paradoxes like Twins Paradox are not really a paradox, those who travel faster will really age more slowly.
The problem arises in a motion into the past that seemingly creates paradoxical phenomena such as the paradox of Grandfather and Grandson. In my opinion, for three reasons, there is no fear of moving into the past, to the approximate place in Space-Time where our galaxy was a year ago, for example, and God forbid when we get there, we will change the future:
- Due to the expansion of the Universe and the motion of the Space-Bodies themselves, those Space-Bodies to which it would theoretically be possible to return, will no longer be in the same place, and in fact we will not be able to find exactly the same Space-Bodies, and certainly they will not be found in the same historical place.
- If any magical Matter that wants to reach the past and change it, miraculously succeeds in finding the location of the Space-Time of the Moving Matter it is looking for, then the event that happened in it in the past is no longer there and cannot be changed.
- Thus, because of that discontinuously of Space and Time, and because of the probabilistic nature of the encounter of Matter in Space-Bodies, the Uncertainty Principle must also be applied to measurements of Time and Space, and therefore we can never know with certainty about any Moving Matter, at the same Time, its place in Time and its place in Space.
Entropy and the arrow of Time
According to the second law of thermodynamics, the degree of irregularity (Entropy) in a closed system in which no new Energy is invested will increase over Time. To this law, scientists attached the arrow of Time that always moves from the past to the future. In my opinion, there is no connection between Entropy and determining the permissible direction of motion in Time. The entire Universe is a closed system (albeit expanding but still closed) in which no new Energy is invested, as there are no sources for generating new Energy. The reason for Entropy is that because of the expansion of Space-Time itself and the motion of Matter in Space-Time that put elements of instability and uncertainty in it, and because of the constant change in the scale of the Universe as a result of expansion, any transition from disorder to order (i.e., repositioning of Matter on the Space-Bodies) requires a use of Energies taken from elsewhere for the sake of the new order.
The Motion in Time between the Space-Bodies is possible in principle in any direction, including angular combinations of directions. Therefore, it is also permitted in the direction of the past – Past is a place in Space-Time where an event occurred. In fact, all three directions of the arrow of Time (past, present, future) are physical places in Space-Time, as described, for example, in Nobel laureate Richard Feynman's book Light and Matter. Feynman permits motion toward the past by measuring the possibilities of motion of photons or electrons in order to determine the probability of their modes of action. In fact, the two great physical theories – the Theory of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics – would not exist if they had not allowed motion back in Time in their equations. My hypothesis about the essence of Time explains why Feynman was right.
Sense of Time
To conclude the chapter devoted to Time, a slight deviation to biology and pure philosophy.
I hypothesis that biological organisms created, in the evolutionary process, "sensors" for Space-Bodies and motion through them. Just as they created sensing systems for actions and other physical bodies (vision – sensitivity to photons: hearing – sensitivity to wave vibrations of air: tactile – sensitivity to contact with Matter: smell – sensitivity to chemical compounds in a gas state: taste – other sensitivity to chemical compounds in each situation). In my evaluation, the interaction between Space-Bodies and biological sensors is responsible for the sense of Time. That is to say: that living things have additional sense, equivalent to the other senses, which is the sense of Time. As an aside, it can be noted that various animals have developed senses that do not exist in humans, such as the ability to recognize and analyze sound waves sent from their bodies. Also, in my opinion, the Sense of Time is responsible for the biological aging process, by being the one that transmits information to the cells of the body about Elapsed Time.
